In January 2027, the South West WARP was born. What better way to celebrate its 20th Anniversary than to hold a conference. Open to all its members and guests, we will look back over the past 20 years and reflect on how things have changed as well taking a look at what the future might have in store for us.
January 2027
Buckfast Abbey Conference Centre, Buckfast, Devon TQ11 0EG
Featuring keynote speaker Graham Cluley, one of the best-known voices in the cyber security industry, the conference will explore how the threat landscape has evolved, what has become more challenging, and what we can learn from 20 years of defending against cyber threats.
Alongside expert insights, practical experience and opportunities for discussion, the programme will cover the issues that matter to local government cyber security professionals — from emerging threats and evolving technologies to incident response, organisational resilience and the realities of protecting public services in a challenging environment.
Above all, this is an opportunity to celebrate the value of collaboration. Cyber threats do not respect organisational boundaries, and no council should have to face them alone. For 20 years, SWWARP has helped make the local government cyber security community stronger through the sharing of information, experience and expertise.
Join us as we celebrate that achievement, share lessons from the past and look ahead to the next 20 years of building cyber resilience together.
